Remember that it has a removable battery so just take out the battery, then put it back in. simple as that.
I have heard, that you can lose your music by doing this, but im telling you that ive done it before and all i had to do is wait 5-10 min while it said "rebuilding library" but once it booted up it had all my music, voice recordings, photos and whatnot on there. so i wouldnt be too worried, but always remember that could happen.
If all else fails, return it, call creative, trouble shoot, sorry i cant help you more.

Depending on your distribution you can install flash from the repositories. You can also go to adobe for a version of flash compatible with your distribution.

Redhat based distroshttp://fedorasolved.org/browser-solution…
On x86 versions of Linuxhttp://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/…

You have checked with the Windows upgrade advisor, and made sure your computer is compatible with a Windows 7 upgrade? Have you tried a system restore and checked your drivers? Here are some troubleshooting tips to finish the installation on your computer: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windo…
Let me know how these work!

It doesn't sound like you need anything too advanced, so I'd suggest getting Sony Vegas Movie Studio (assuming you're running a PC) for easily under $80. It's not the fastest for rendering, or the highest of quality, but at, what, 60 seconds tops for a commercial, it will be plenty fast.
There are other options, like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Express (best budget video editing software for Mac, IMHO) and Sony Vegas Pro that will offer more features, but will be in the $200-500 price range.
If you're talking high-quality, big-budget production quality, you need to look at Avid or Final Cut Pro, but these will cost major dollars.

No, all you have to do is change the kboot.conf file and choose to boot from the HD resolution you want, for example, if you want to have Linux run in 1080i, look for the line that says "kboot=ydl480i" and change "ydl480i" to "ydl1080i", yoy may have to add a line, but it should still work, you can get more information from http://www.terrasoftsolutions.com/suppor… , that page as been extremely helpful when I installed Linux on my PS3
If you need anymore help, just contact me my email

Linux is great for that, you just add the IP's to the Nic setup!
Don't know what version of linux you have but usually you can run the network scripts to add the IP's. (As long as they are all in the same class range / subnet you are golden.)
Here is a good article with step by step.http://linux-journal.blogspot.com/2005/0…
I don't run Cpanel anymore (tried it once) but you should be able to do it from there as well.http://www.mydigitallife.info/2007/08/06…
All these do is tell the card to accept traffic for the IP's you enter. All the rest is handled by apache, ftp etc.

The swap partition is just like virtual memory(Paging Files)in XP or some space which is needed twice the size of physical memory or RAM. this space is used by linux to store files when your RAM is loaded fully. you can create this partition during installation of linux by simply selecting the space on your hard disk and select /swap from the drop down box.

The "stick-up" bulbs you see on T.V. are nothing more than "glow"lights, if I could get your address I'd send you the ones I got ripped off with. They're nothing more then a soft glow in the darkest night.
I f could find a good carpenter that could make you a simple frame for a small square around the mirrors you use, something that "bar lights" in the florescent size, say about 18 inches long could be attached and the frame could be attached to the wall with only a minimum amount of holes, maybe four, one on a side. Then a plug in wire, I see where this may work. The entire outfit could be attached to the frame and the frame to the wall with little damage to the walls.
