Do You Need A Security Clearance To Work As A Dod Worker On An Army Post?

Or any military base? I was wondering because I want to apply for a either a medical or administrative position but was wondering if being a DoD Civilian worker requires a security clearance.

Usually when you apply or look online at the job descriptions it will say whether you will need a clearnace or not. If you are going to be handling paperwork it will depend but I would most likely say yes.http://www.usajobs.gov/

Of course it does. Even if you work for a contract company you have to have one. They wont let just anyone on post, you have to get a background check too.

Yes. There is always some type of security clearance for every DOD civilian position on base, in an Armory on in Recruiting. Considering the information you will be around on a daily basis, it is to be expected.
