I already have a lawyer but I’m in a deep amount of debt to him and I work part time and I have no other income comming in how do I go about getting help to pay him off.

I just went threw this…. I had an agreed amount verbally and never signed any rounded out paperwork or contingencys saying rates might change or there may be more fees for additional work. So when they sent me an additional $800 bill I called them up and said, KISS MY A$$. Then they tried to tell me I signed a form saying “additional circumstances”, I asked them to send it to me and they said, i never sighned it. Then they tried to settel on half, but I said nope, have a nice day. I dunno how deep you are in but it doesnt effect your credit report., Mine didnt anyway…. They tried to charge me for my “EX-WIFE” calling them and asking them about paperwork she recieved in the mail because she didnt have an attourney. They are an over paid waste of money. I had such a bad experience with my lawyers… Anyways, congrats on the divorce. Its time to get life in order now.
